1 COLLEGE BASKETBALL:

Kentucky added guard Kellan Grady, a graduate transfer who will be eligible to play next season. He scored 2,002 career points at Davidson, averaging more than 17 points in all four seasons . ... Also, Tennessee freshman guard Jaden Springer is signing with an agent and declaring for the NBA draft. He led the Vols in scoring, averaging 12.5 points.

COLLEGE BASKETBALL: 2

Florida forward Omar Payne entered the transfer portal, the fifth player to leave the program since the end of the season. Payne joined guard Noah Locke, guard Ques Glover and forward Osayi Osifo in looking to play elsewhere. Star guard and leading scorer Tre Mann entered the NBA draft with plans of hiring an agent, meaning he has no intention of returning to school.

PRO BASKETBALL: 3

The NBA has scheduled this year’s draft for July 29, though it has yet to announce a location. Other key dates ahead of the draft were revealed Monday: The draft combine is June 21-June 27, the draft lottery is June 22, and July 19 is the deadline for earlyentry candidates to withdraw. Early entries must apply for the draft by May 30, the NBA said.

PRO BASKETBALL: 4

The Spurs signed center Gorgui Dieng, adding a nine-year veteran to the front line after the departure of Lamarcus Aldridge. Dieng was waived by Memphis last week after averaging 7.9 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists over 22 games. Aldridge averaged 19.5 points and 8.0 rebounds in 5½ seasons for the Spurs before they removed him from the rotation this month. The Spurs bought out Aldridge’s contract and he said he plans to play for the Nets.

5 COLLEGES:

Vanderbilt announced a $300 million project to improve football and basketball facilities and a new fund to raise money for athletics. The Vandy United Fund already has $200 million committed.
