A reader is frustrated with traffic lights.
“Why do we have traffic lights at the intersection of Currier and Piedmont? The Civic Center has been closed for years, so what is the need? There is more vehicle and pedestrian traffic at Renaissance Parkway and Piedmont ... move the traf- fic lights,” wrote Bill Worth.

“Here in Henry County, there have been so many roundabouts built that it is becoming a joke. The county will be one big roundabout in the near future,” wrote John Page.
He said GDOT plans to place two roundabouts within 400 feet of each other to improve traffic flow and accidents.
“But if GDOT would only change five streets, each section less than 1,000 feet, to one-way traffic, it would solve the total problem,” he added.
