1 COLLEGE MEN’S BASKETBALL:

Texas Tech junior guard Mac Mcclung intends to go through the NBA draft process while the team’s leading scorer from last season also has his name in the NCAA transfer portal. His decision is the latest in the potential exodus of key players since coach Chris Beard took the job at Texas.

2 COLLEGE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL:

Uconn added another post player with Dorka Juhasz announcing she is transferri­ng from Ohio State. The 6-foot-4 Hungarian, an All-big Ten forward, averaged 14.6 points and 11.1 rebounds this past season. Juhasz will enter Uconn as a graduate student with two years of eligibilit­y. The Huskies went 28-2 this past season with a 13th consecutiv­e trip to the Final Four.

3 COLLEGE MEN’S BASKETBALL:

Aaron Henry decided to skip his senior season at Michigan State to enter the NBA draft, saying he plans to sign with an agent. Henry was the team’s only double-digit scorer, averaging 15.4 points. He led Michigan State with 3.6 assists and 1.3 steals per game, along with being tied for the team lead with 5.6 rebounds a game and being its top defender.

4 PRO SOCCER:

Nashville extended coach Gary Smith’s contract through the 2023 season after he led the club to the MLS playoffs in its inaugural season. Nashville reached the Eastern Conference semifinals, the first expansion club to do that since 1998.

5 PRO SOCCER:

More English sports events are being moved to avoid clashing with Prince Philip’s funeral, with a Premier League match between Wolverhamp­ton and Sheffield United pushed to Saturday evening, rather than 3 p.m. when Philip’s funeral service is due to start. Saturday’s other Premier League game (Newcastlew­est Ham) will kick off at 12:30 p.m. as planned. Philip, Queen Elizabeth II’S husband of 73 years, died Friday at 99.
