Drug ring busted: More than 100 people were arrested when police in Spain busted an illegal drug ring this summer, Europol said Wednesday. The European policing authority said that the arrests occurred on July 13 when Spanish police, in collaboration with police from Germany and Albania, detained 107 individuals during 42 raids in Barcelona and three smaller cities in Spain’s northeast.

5 missing afternavy crash: One person was rescued and five others were missing after a U.S. Navy helicopter crashed on Tuesday in the water off the coast near San Diego, according to military officials. The cause of the crash was not immediately clear. In a statement, the Navy’s Third Fleet said the helicopter “crashed into the sea” while it was conducting “routine flight operations.”
