Columbia’s Harris shines with 3 sacks

Here were some of the top high school football performanc­es from metro Atlanta players in Week 3:

■ Columbia DL/LB Marquez Harris had four tackles for loss and three sacks and scored a touchdown in a 18-13 victory over Arabia Mountain.

■ Collins Hill DE Asani Redwood had three sacks and five QB hurries in a 37-22 victory over Greenville Christian of Mississipp­i.

■ Creekside LB Javeon Miller had three tackles for loss in a 27-20 victory over Westlake.

■ Douglas County LB Shakai Woods had 15 tackles, two for loss, in a 9-0 victory over Dutchtown.

■ Duluth WR Evan Tho mas had six recep- tions for 156 yards and a touchdown in a 41-19 loss to Daniel, the No. 1 team in South Carolina’s Class 3A.

■ Grayson LB Jalen Smith had 10 tackles and three sacks in a 42-6 vic- tory over Alpharetta.

■ Hebron Christian QB Gavin Hall was 9-of-13 passing for 152 yards and a touchdown and rushed for

118 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries in a 34-24 victory over Wood- land of Cartersvil­le.

■ Holy Innocents’ RB/ DB/LB Drew Bomar rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries, intercepte­d a pass and had a sack and three tackles for loss in a 31-0 victory over Christ Church of South Carolina.

■ Hughes QB Prentiss Noland was 15-of-19 passing for 157 yards and a touch- down in a 38-14 victory over

Harrison.

■ Kennesaw Mountain LB Ethan Voltaire had 18 total tackles (13 solo, five assists) and two tackles for loss in a 22-21 victory over Allatoona.

■ Marietta WR Christian Mathis had eight recep- tions for 137 yards and two touchdowns in a 42-21 victory over Mceachern.

■ Mcintosh LB/G Grant Mckenzie had 14 tackles, two sacks and six pancake blocks in a 34-28 victory over Fayette County.

■ Mill Creek LB Josh Anglin had three tackles for loss and 0.5 sacks in a 35-7 victory over Dacula.

■ Miller Grove LB Cayman Spaulding had six sacks, seven tackles for loss, 10 solo tackles and four assists in a 35-13 victory over Therrell.

■ Milton WR Debron Gatling had five recep- tions for 105 yards and three touchdowns in a 34-14 victory over Life Christian Academy of Virginia.

■ Mountain View WR

Sean Reese had six recep- tions for 158 yards and two touchdowns in a 28-20 victory over Lanier.

■ Pope WR Joel Brock had six receptions for 175 yards and a touchdown in a 30-24 victory over Kell.

■ Sandy Creek QB Gemiere Latimer was 14-of-23 passing for 249 yards and four touchdowns in a 35-34 victory over Newnan.

■ Southwest Dekalb RB

Billy Johnson rushed for 141 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries in a 28-20 loss to Lithia Springs.

■ South Gwinnett RB

Glenn Rouse rushed for 191 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries in a 32-0 victory over Central Gwinnett.
