CNN anchor suspended: CNN
2 suspended anchor Chris Cuomo indefinitely after details emerged about how he helped his brother, former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, as he faced charges of sexual harassment. The network said documents released by New York’s attorney general indicated a greater level in his brother’s efforts than the network previously knew. “As a result, we have suspended Chris indefinitely, pending further evaluation,” the network said.
Spacewalk delayed: NASA called 3 off a spacewalk Tuesday because of a piece of orbiting debris that could puncture an astronaut’s suit or damage the International Space Station, delaying the spacewalk for at least a few days.
Barbados’ new era: Barbados
4 stopped pledging allegiance to Queen Elizabeth II on Tuesday as it shed a vestige of its colonial past and became a republic. The drive to become a republic culminated with the island’s Parliament electing its first president — Barbados Governor General Sandra Mason — last month.

British antitrust regulators ordered Facebook’s parent company Meta to sell the animated images library Giphy. The country’s Competition and Markets Authority said the acquisition of Giphy, which Meta bought last year, reduced competition between social media platforms and in the display advertising market.
