1 PRO GOLF: Jerry Kelly birdied the first hole of a playoff with Kirk Triplett on Sunday to win the PGA Tour Champions’ Principal Charity Classic. Kelly hit his approach to 4 feet on the par-4 18th to set up the winning putt. The 55-year-old from Wisconsin has nine victories on the 50-and-over tour after winning three times on the PGA Tour.

Yordan Álvarez and the Houston Astros finalized a $115 million, six-year contract covering 202328. His deal announced Monday calls for a $5 million signing bonus and salaries of $7 million next year, $10 million in 2024 and $15 million in 2025, covering his three years of arbitration eligibility. Álvarez receives $26 million annually from 2026 to 2028.
PRO FOOTBALL: A 24th woman 3 filed a civil lawsuit Monday alleging sexual misconduct by Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson, who is also awaiting possible discipline from the NFL. Watson has been accused by massage therapists of harassing, assaulting or touching them during appointments when he was with the Houston Texans.
PRO FOOTBALL: Bob Talamini, 4 an offensive lineman on the New York Jets’ Super Bowl-winning team in 1969 after eight seasons with the Houston Oilers, died May 30. He was 83. Talamini was a six-time AFL All-star selection for Houston, helping the Oilers win championships in the league’s first two seasons. He finished his career by playing one season with New York, helping Joe Namath and the Jets win the franchise’s first — and still only — Super Bowl.
PRO FOOTBALL: All-pro 5 defensive tackle Aaron Donald is getting a reworked contract to stay with the Los Angeles Rams through 2024. The NFL Network reported Donald is getting a $40 million raise that will make him the highest-paid defensive player in the league.
