1 COLLEGE BASKETBALL:

Jake O’neil had 15 points and 12 rebounds and College of Idaho built a big lead before holding on to beat Indiana Tech 73-71 Saturday night in the NAIA national championsh­ip game. College of Idaho has won 36 games in a row — the longest active win streak in men’s college basketball. It is the program’s second national title.

2 SOCCER:

Tim Weah will miss the United States’ CONCACAF Nations League matches against Grenada and El Salvador after suffering an injury while playing for Lille. The 23-year-old winger was injured in Lille’s Ligue 1 match against Toulouse on Saturday. The U.S. Soccer Federation said Sunday that Weah had entered the concussion protocol. Weah was replaced on the U.S. roster by Djordje Mihailovic of the Dutch club AZ Alkmaar.

3 AUTO RACING:

Sergio Perez won the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix and Max Verstappen drove from 15th to second to give Red Bull a 1-2 finish Sunday in what is shaping up to be a runaway season for the reigning Formula One champions. Fernando Alonso finished third for the second consecutiv­e race for what would have been his 100th career podium. But he was later handed a 10-second penalty for incorrectl­y serving an early penalty and that dropped him to fourth.

4 PRO GOLF:

Matthew Baldwin claimed his first title on the European tour Sunday by storming to a seven-shot victory at the SDC Championsh­ip in South Africa. Baldwin finished with a 4-under 68 on the St. Francis Links course for 18-under overall. Spain’s Adri Arnaus finished second .

5 RUNNING:

Jemal Yimer of Ethiopia won the men’s division of the Los Angeles Marathon on Sunday, while Stacy Ndiwa of Kenya took the women’s division. Yimer completed the 26.2-mile course in 2 hours, 13 minutes, 13.58 seconds. Ndiwa crossed the finish line in 2:31:00.24.
