Mail 3 days a week? Idea 3 meets resistance in Britain:
Britain’s postal service could consider cutting deliveries to fifive days a week, or even three, from six, the country’s regulator said Wednesday, drawing resistance from lawmakers and businesses. The Royal Mail, like the U. S. Postal Service, has been increasingly plagued by service issues and fifinancial pressures. Reducing delivery to just three days a week would save the Royal Mail up to $ 830 million a year, the report found.
4 Microsoft cuts 1,900 jobs in its video game division:
Microsoft said Thursday it would eliminate 1,900 roles in its video game division, including at Activision Blizzard, which it acquired for $ 69 billion three months ago. The cuts will be made at Activision, the maker of hit games such as“Call of Duty” and“Guitar Hero,” as well as Xbox, according to a staffff memo from Phil Spencer, the head of Microsoft Gaming. The cuts amount to a reduction of nearly 9% of Microsoft’s 22,000- person video game team.

Researchers say a rhinoceros was impregnated through embryo transfer in the fifirst successful use of a method that could be used to try to save the nearly extinct northern white rhino subspecies. The experiment was conducted with the less endangered southern white rhino subspecies.
