“Saturday Night Live” alumna Leslie Jones is both host and executive producer of this classic, fast-paced game show in which each episode features three teams of two battling it out to prove their supermarket skills and general knowledge of merchandise to win big cash prizes. The team that manages to rack up the biggest grocery bill during their timed race around the store can win $100,000. Jones says she has an emotional stake in the game: She unsuccessfully auditioned to be a contestant on an earlier version of the show.

Beloved British comedy actress Dawn French (“The Vicar of Dibley”) returns to series television in this new dramedy set in Thurlbury, a quaint coastal village. As the show opens, shop owner and busybody Maggie Cole (French), who presents herself as a local historian, stirs up life in the village during a tipsy interview on a radio show, when she makes some indiscreet revelations about several of her neighbors. Mark Heap, Julie Hesmondhalgh and Vicki Pepperdine also star.

In a new “Halloween Redemption” episode, chefs Anne Burrell and Carla Hall give four former “Worst Cooks” recruits a chance to redeem themselves for their earlier appearance on the show by dividing into teams and learning from their team leaders Anne and Carla how to make a Halloween party buffet. The treats they come up with must please a party of Halloween enthusiasts — along with culinary judges Danny Brown, Jordan Andino and Gabriela Rodiles — to win the grand prize, kitchen upgrades worth $5,000.
