CATHRYN LENORE WILLIAMS

November 29, 1942 - December 22, 2020

Our beloved mother has passed from this earth to be with her Lord. After a long battle with Alzheimer's disease, she took her last breath with her daughters and granddaughter by her side. We will love and miss her forever and her loss is felt tremendously. We know she is no longer suffering and for that we are grateful. She was a loving mother, the best grandma ever, aunt, sister, friend. Cathy enjoyed reading, gardening, travelling with her dear friends, cooking, baking and loved all animals.

Cathy is survived by her two daughters Christine and Theresa Wilson, her granddaughter Corina Johnson (Shawn Xie), brother and SIL Patrick/Julie Whitmore, brother Michael Whitmore, Linda, Meghan/Ben, Mandy, Isaac, Andrew/Kelsey, Jesse/Nicole, Katie/Chad and great nieces and nephews whom she loved very much, she loved you all. She also had a beloved bonus daughter and family Patty, Stephen, Nate, Jackie, and Susie Akery. She lost the love of her life John Crawford many years ago but never stopped loving him. She loved his family as her own, Jimmy/Wendy Crawford, Jody (Jake) Woods, Emily & Isabella.

She had many dear friends that she loved dearly and had many fun times traveling & sharing great life experiences with: Donna Moriarty, Kevin & Brenda, Natalie, Wade and Tracy & Brian, Kelly (Nick) & Katie; Judy McDougal, Diane Villalovos, Craig Corder, Illene Matlock, Margaret Ursin, Joy Luster, and her bunco group of ladies and many more friends. Mom's friendships were her family and very dear to her.

She worked for the City of Bakersfield for over 22 years and made many life -long friends and worked at the County Tax assessor office, again making many friends for life.

Thank you to Pastor Ernie/Dyann Serrato for the love and dedication you showed to her and us. We would also like to thank Bristol Hospice, a special thank you to Kathie and Connie.
