Great Grandkids Gavin, Max, Athena, Demi, Zayden, Valo, Ava, a great granddaughter and great grandson on the way. Sherril loved her family and spending time with her grandkids, more than life itself.

Sherril lived in Bakersfield California most of her life, she worked in various industries throughout Kern County but her proudest achievement was working as a real-estate agent where she excelled and found her calling. Sherril was the foundation of our family, she planned our annual camping trip and margaritas, hosted holidays and if she didn’t host, she still brought enough for everyone and then some. No family member or friend went without a gift for the holidays.

Sherril always had a love for the mountains of Kern, since her mother and father Bill and June McKay ran the Sugarloaf lodge in the 70’s. Sherril moved from Bakersfield to Kernville and soon after bought the home of her dreams in Wofford Heights with amazing views of the lake.

There was nothing more important than her family, she would do anything for us. She will always be in our hearts and left us all with many memories. She was a strong woman and a survivor. We love you very much, you will be missed!
