Johnny Ray Baca, 59, passed away on January 3, 2021 in Bakersfield, CA. His wife Elisa, daughter Christina and son Jonathan held his hand as he passed on to his heavenly home.

Johnny was raised in Delano, CA where he attended Cecil Elementary and Delano High School. Upon finishing his studies at DHS he moved to Orange County where he was a Department Manager for McDonnell Douglas. He later moved to Ventura where he discovered his love for cement. He attended Ventura College where he received his Journeyman certification as a Cement Finisher in 1986. Upon his return to Bakersfield in 1990 he was employed with Plasterers and Cement Mason Local 600, then moved on to work for various companies and ending employment with KSI.

On June 19, 1993 Johnny married his wife of 27 years Elisa Flores Baca. She was his soul mate, confidant and best friend. As a dad he was silly, funny and so soft hearted. Johnny was all about spending time together and enjoyed their yearly Mammoth vacation trips. Those will forever be the most memorable.

He was the life of the party, walking in strutting his stuff, giving high fives, and please do not show him the microphone. He was a jokester and always had everyone laughing. Lastly, Johnny enjoyed fishing, hunting, skiing, and golfing. His favorite golfing partner was his son Jonathan. He would always say I'm so glad I showed him how to play, even if I can't beat him in this game anymore. That was the last outing he had. What a great memory.

Johnny is survived by his wife Elisa Baca, children: Christina Ochoa and Jonathan Baca; Sisters: Ruby (Pete) Torres, Rose (Tony) Arauza, Mona (Seamus) Watson; Brother: Michael(Monica) Baca; Brother in law: Ray Mascarinas, along with several nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his father Mike Baca, mother Jennie Baca and sister Lyn Mascarinas.
