Jose (Joey) A. Frausto went to be with the Lord on March 1, 2021. Joey lived in Bakersfiel­d, CA, the majority of his life and attended South High School. After HS, Joey went to work at J&M Constructi­on, where he mastered the art of carpentry. He was well known for his abilities to remodel and design kitchens and bathrooms. He learned from the best, his Dad Joe. Joey was an avid toy and comic book collector. He enjoyed buying, collecting, and selling toys, comic books, records, and vintage items. He co-owned Jodeez Trinkets and Treasures shop space and online store along with his best friend and wife, Deanna.

Joey had a great appreciati­on for old school music, which was reflected in his great record collection. He could name the singer or band to most any 60s, 70s and 80s songs. Joey was the best dancer in the family. He was a family man and loved to have gatherings with his extended family which always included great music, dance, good food and love. He was a Raiders fan and loved to barbecue.

Joey is survived by his beloved wife Deanna, along with his sons Andrew, Jacob, Joe Jr. and his daughter, Monique; Mother Trinie, brother Michael, sisters Rosemary, Rachel, Vivian, Roxie, Olivia and Cindy; Grandchild­ren Alaina, Leo, Austen, Joshua Jr. Andrew Jr. Adelina and Jacob Jr.

Viewing and Rosary will be held on Tuesday, March 9th at 5 pm - 8pm at Rubio’s Funeral Home, 1100 Chester Ave., Bakersfiel­d, CA.

Service to take place at Francis of Assisi Church 900 H St. Bakersfiel­d, Ca 93304 on March 10th at 2 pm.
