MAYNARD KEITH DENISON

May 7, 1950 - March 15, 2021

On March 15, 2021, Heaven gained another beautiful angel. Maynard Keith Denison passed away and joined his soulmate and best friend, Sandy Pelletier Denison.

Maynard was born in Honolulu on May 7, 1950, to Robert and Annie Denison. He spent his early summers barefoot, playing and running around the island. In 1960, he moved to San Francisco with his parents. While in high school, he excelled in math and loved playing baseball. He attended U.C. Berkeley and CSU Hayward. After receiving his degree, his career as a Certified Public Accountant took him to Texas, but his desire to be near family brought him back home to California. He dedicated many years to his successful and highly respected accounting business, Maynard K. Denison, CPA, in Kern County. Baseball and golf were lifelong hobbies of his. Maynard and his wife, Sandy, had a shared love for bridge, Dodgers baseball, Golden Retrievers, and cats. He cherished his wife, family, bonus family and friends. His granddaughters Gabriella Eldridge, Isabella Mihal, Emma Hutton, and Sophia Girguis brought him enormous amounts of joy and pride. Helping people in need and believing the best in people were some of his most generous and admirable traits.

Maynard was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Annie Denison, and his loving wife, Sandy Pelletier Denison. He is survived by daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and Robert Mihal and granddaughter Isabella Mihal; daughter and son-in-law Kristin and Corey Hutton and granddaughters Gabriella Eldridge and Emma Hutton; sister and brother-in-law Lani and Steve Kitler and nephews Nate and Sam Kitler.
