Allen was born July 25, 1956, in Bakersfield to Julian and Geraldine Pierucci who have preceded him in death. He grew up in Buttonwillow and learned farming alongside his dad. Allen has continued the legacy with his son. Besides his love for his wife, Lori, and son, Seth, Allen loved farming with such a passion he could make a total stranger feel it. You could see that passion in the antique tractor collection that he had restored. He thoroughly loved teaching others about farming. To better teach their classes, schoolteachers would take tours of local farms. They always loved ending their day at Allen's ranch where they enjoyed an Italian home cooked meal. He volunteered in classrooms to talk to the students about farming. In 2010, he was proud to have received the High Cotton Award, Western Division, one of only four awarded in the nation. Western Farm Press featured Allen on the cover of their magazine.

Allen loved his animals, especially his ride along buddy, Beretta. When he wasn't working, Allen enjoyed taking one of his corvettes out for a ride. He loved cruising to the beach, listening to his favorite music. He also enjoyed his visits from Uncle Cookie (Joe Pierucci, Jr.) and the stories they shared. Allen was known for having reserved seats at all his favorite restaurants, and for his signature red shoes.

One thing Allen had in abundance was friends. He had friends who ranged anywhere from childhood and high school to those he may have known only a brief time. His friends all know how special they were to Allen.

Surviving Allen are his wife, Lori; son and daughter-in-law, Seth and Taylor; sister, Annette Andreotti and her children, Joseph (Jenny) Andreotti, Tyler (Heidi) Andreotti; Joe (Uncle Cookie) Pierucci, Jr.; mother-in-law, Barbara Fleetwood; sister-in-law, Melanie (Michael) Burleson and their children, Jordan, Jeramy (Taylor), Jade Burleson, Josh (Layne) McNabb, Sarah (Stephen) Cabral, and Kelsey (Michael) Littlejohn.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 25th at Greenlawn Memorial Park Northeast, 3700 River Boulevard, Bakersfield 93305.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Allen's memory may be made to the Buttonwillow Lions Club, P. O. Box 121, Buttonwillow, CA 93206, or the Wounded Heroes Fund, 3121 Standard Street. Bakersfield, CA, 93308.
