KEVIN NICHOLAS HAMBLIN

March 3, 1978 - September 16, 2021

With the deepest pain and sorrow, we announce that our son Kevin, age 43 passed away on September 16, 2021.

Kevin grew up in Bakersfield, CA. He graduated from Centennial High School in 1996. After High School, he earned several trade certificates and would light up when he spoke about them.

Kevin was the life of the party and always wanted to make sure that everyone was taken care of and having a great time. He loved to barbeque and entertain. Kevin never knew a stranger and would help anyone that was in need. He loved to fish and would talk about all the fishing he did while he was living in Kansas. But, most of all he loved to shop for clothes especially shoes.

Kevin will be loved and missed every day and forever by his father and mother, Allen and Rena' Hamblin, brothers and their wives, Ty and Monica Hamblin, Brian and Lana Hamblin, the love of his life, his wife Stephanie Hamblin, children Kaden, Emilio, Jasmine and Tony. Many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews, and many, many, friends.

We know that Kevin is in the loving arms of God and his grandparents, Elmo and Barbara Peters, Jesse and Betty Hamblin, Dixie Maxwell, great grandmother Georgia Mays, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends and is loved here on earth as well as in heaven.

We would like to say “Thank You” to everyone who has reached out, traveled from Kansas, prayed, sent cards, texts, food, flowers or just a shoulder to cry on as we try to make it through this extremely difficult time...it is greatly appreciated.

A celebration of life will be scheduled as a family reunion, date TBD.
