MIDLAND PARK - Clyde W. Moser, 90, beloved husband, father, and grandfathe­r, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2024. Clyde was born in Le Sueur, MN, in 1933. After graduating from high school in Le Sueur, he enrolled at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN. However, after a year he and five close friends from his hometown decided to volunteer for military service, an event noted by the local newspaper, serving as a medic, stationed in Indiana and Colorado. Clyde met his beloved wife, Helen, in LeSueur, MN, and the two married in St. Paul in 1963. Clyde worked for many years at the Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company (A&P). In 1972, as a result of a job transfer, he and Helen moved to Midland Park, NJ, where they raised four children. Clyde and Helen were blessed to live together in good health and happiness in their Midland Park home for almost 50 years, before Helen passed away in October 2021. Clyde is survived by his four children: Timothy and his wife Patricia; Peter and his wife Connie; Mary and her husband Charlie; and Daniel who in recent years was instrument­al in ensuring that Clyde and Helen could live out their days in comfort and security in their Midland Park home. Clyde is also survived by five grandchild­ren, Jake, Erin, Ryan, Kate, and Leigha. Family will welcome friends on Saturday January 13, 2024, at 2pm-4pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. Interment will take place at Maryrest Cemetery in Mahwah, NJ, on Saturday January 20, 2024.
