Mary Margaret Pellegrino

Mary Margaret Pellegrino (nee Brennan), 82, of Saddle Brook passed away peacefully on April 9, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born and raised in Hoboken before moving to Saddle Brook with her late husband, Fred Pellegrino, and their young family 52 years ago. Throughout her life, she was known as her children’s and grandchildren’s biggest fan! If there was a game she was there loudly supporting from the stands. She also enjoyed watching her Yankees and cheering just as passionately in her family room. Mary was kind and welcoming to everyone who knew her as she was always available for a phone call or to host a backyard barbecue. Prior to her retirement, she was the friendly voice and office administrator with Acquatic Pools in Wyckoff.

She will forever be cherished by her children, Dona McAvoy, Darren Pellegrino, Dana Farinella, Daryle Pellegrino and his wife Alyssa. Mary was the doting grandmother to Dylan, Kayla, Jena Kayte, Jake, Mackenzie, Jillian, Jack, Luke, Mia, Sophie, Tatum, Quincy, Velma, Xena, and Bambi. Mary was the oldest sister of Thomas Brennan, Ann Brennan Kelly, Martin Brennan, and the late Joseph Brennan. She touched the lives of many extended family and friends with her warmth and love.

The family will receive relatives and friends Sunday, April 14, 2024, 2-6 pm at Vander Plaat Colonial Home, 13-31 Saddle River Road, Fair Lawn, NJ. www.vpfairlawn.com/

A Funeral mass will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024, 11 am at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, 488 Saddle River Road, Saddle Brook, NJ.
