Newly elected elder, Jeff Moser, was installed as an elder at services on Sunday, May 29. The church preschool will hold an open house on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Holy Communion will be celebrated Sunday at all services. Boy Scouts meet Monday at 7 p.m. Cub Scouts meet Thursday at 7 p.m. AA groups meet at the church on Wednesdays at 8 p.m., Thursdays at 12:15 p.m. and Saturdays at 10 a.m. Al Anon meets in the church on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. Shepherd of the Hills Church is located at 527 Hoffmansvi­lle Road, Bechtelsvi­lle.

Our summer worship schedule begins on Sunday, June 5, with worship at 9 a.m. and no Sunday School or Contempora­ry Worship. Our regular worship schedule will resume on Sunday, Sept. 4. Graduate Sunday is June 5. Please call the Church office and let us know of any members, friends or loved ones who are graduating from high school, college, graduate school, basic training or any other academic or career training program.

Relay for Life participan­ts must register online at www.relayforli­fe.org/PA Boyertown. Register under Trinity Lutheran Church/Bechtelsvi­lle. The Relay is Saturday, June 25 at 10 a.m. to Sunday, June 26 at 10 a.m. You do not need to be present the full 24 hours. There are several ways you can help, by pledging walkers, making a donation, buying a T-shirt, buying a luminaria. For more informatio­n, please call the church office. Everyone is welcome to come out and cheer the walkers on their way. Any way you choose to help will be greatly appreciate­d. Southeast Berks Chapter of Thrivent Financial will provide supplement­al funding. Vacation Bible School is July 25 to 29, 6:15 to 8:30 p.m. “Barnyard Roundup.” Plans are underway for our 2016 Vacation Bible School, for children ages three years old through sixth grade. Trinity Baseball Outing 2016, this year’s Reading Phillies game will be held on Saturday, Aug. 27. We need payment by Aug. 1. Gates open at 5:35 p.m. Game at 6:35 p.m. Outfield Seating Area. The 2 1⁄2 hour all you can eat buffet.

You may sponsor Altar Flowers, the price for one vase is $25 and $50 for two vases, please see Mary Snyder. You may also sponsor the bulletins for $15 per week. When sponsoring flowers, please use a flower envelope found in the rack in the narthex or clearly mark the envelope “flowers.” If you sponsored flowers in the past but no longer wish to, please let Mary Snyder or the church office know. Please participat­e in Trinity’s Gift Card Program: Gift card orders will be taken the 1st Sunday of the month. Payment is due with the order. Your gift cards will be available the second Sunday of the month. With every purchase, Trinity earns a percentage of every dollar you spend. The Property committee will meet on Monday, June 6 at 7 p.m. in room B in the church. The Daisy/Brownie Girl Scout troops will meet in the social hall at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7. On Wednesday, June 8 at 6 p.m., the Mutual Ministry committee will meet in room B in the church. The Caregiver’s group will gather on Friday, June 10 at 1 p.m. at Walnut Woods, Boyertown.
