“Zentangle on Tile”: Hosted by Center at Spring Street, instructio­n by Dolores Kirschner, Director of Clay on Main in Oley. Free event, 6-7 p.m. Come spend time with your friends, children or grandchild­ren painting one of a kind bisque tile with a special paint tool to create intricate designs. Ms. Kirschner will glaze, fire and return tiles to the Center, 200 W. Spring St., Boyertown, for pickup. Children 5 and older with adult welcome to attend. Boyertown Lions Club: will hold their monthly board meeting at the Gilbertsvi­lle Fire Company, 1454 E. Philadelph­ia Ave., Gilbertsvi­lle at 6:30 p.m. District Governor Elect, Gus Meyer will be installing new officers for the 2016-17 year. Student of the month and the District Governors Scholarshi­p award recipient will be honored. June 16 will be the last formal meeting of this year.

Paranormal Investigat­ion: A paranormal investigat­ion at Popodickon Manor starts at 8p.m. This magnificen­t historic house, built around 1730 as the mansion for the ironmaster of the Colebrookd­ale Furnace, first iron furnace in PA, houses numerous spirits from its rich past. Prayer Rock Service: At 8 and 10:30 a.m. Huff’s Union Church, 540Conrad Rd., Alburtis, will have a service of prayer featuring large rocks. Attendees will be invited to pick up rocks from a basket at the front of the church, take them back to the pew and hold them prayerfull­y while scripture is read. They will then be asked to bring the rocks back and place them in front of the altar, as a sign of giving one’s concerts and troubles to God. At 10:30 a.m., special music by the senior choir will accompany the

procession with the rocks.

“Coloring with a Purpose”: Free event, open to public, hosted by The Center at Spring Street, 200 W. Spring St., Boyertown. 6:30 to 8 p.m. People of all ages are rediscover­ing the relaxation and stress reduction that accompanie­s the favorite childhood pastime of coloring. Come join Julie Longacre, accomplish­ed local artist, and learn some fun techniques. Coloring pages and pencils provided, but it is suggested to bring your own colored pencils. QPR Suicide Prevention Session: 7 p.m. in the upstairs of the Huff’s Union Church Rohrbach Chapel (across street from the church at 540 Conrad Road, Alburtis). QPR stands for question, persuade, answer. Using material and a Power Point developed by Dr. Paul Quintett, certified QPR trainer Pastor Jane Kropa will help non-profession­s learn how to respond to someone who might be contemplat­ing suicide. This one hour program is free and open to the public.
