“Zentangle on Tile”: Hosted by Center at Spring Street, instruction by Dolores Kirschner, Director of Clay on Main in Oley. Free event, 6-7 p.m. Come spend time with your friends, children or grandchildren painting one of a kind bisque tile with a special paint tool to create intricate designs. Ms. Kirschner will glaze, fire and return tiles to the Center, 200 W. Spring St., Boyertown, for pickup. Children 5 and older with adult welcome to attend. Boyertown Lions Club: will hold their monthly board meeting at the Gilbertsville Fire Company, 1454 E. Philadelphia Ave., Gilbertsville at 6:30 p.m. District Governor Elect, Gus Meyer will be installing new officers for the 2016-17 year. Student of the month and the District Governors Scholarship award recipient will be honored. June 16 will be the last formal meeting of this year.

Paranormal Investigation: A paranormal investigation at Popodickon Manor starts at 8p.m. This magnificent historic house, built around 1730 as the mansion for the ironmaster of the Colebrookdale Furnace, first iron furnace in PA, houses numerous spirits from its rich past. We will be investigating the house, graveyard and alleged burial site of Chief Popodickon, and you can join in. Space is limited, reservations requested. There is a cost. Prayer Rock Service: At 8 and 10:30 a.m. Huff’s Union Church, 540Conrad Rd., Alburtis, will have a service of prayer featuring large rocks. Attendees will be invited to pick up rocks from a basket at the front of the church, take them back to the pew and hold them prayerfully while scripture is read. They will then be asked to bring the rocks back and place them in front of the altar, as a sign of giving one’s concerts and troubles to God. At 10:30 a.m., special music by the senior choir will accompany the
procession with the rocks.

“Coloring with a Purpose”: Free event, open to public, hosted by The Center at Spring Street, 200 W. Spring St., Boyertown. 6:30 to 8 p.m. People of all ages are rediscovering the relaxation and stress reduction that accompanies the favorite childhood pastime of coloring. Come join Julie Longacre, accomplished local artist, and learn some fun techniques. Coloring pages and pencils provided, but it is suggested to bring your own colored pencils. QPR Suicide Prevention Session: 7 p.m. in the upstairs of the Huff’s Union Church Rohrbach Chapel (across street from the church at 540 Conrad Road, Alburtis). QPR stands for question, persuade, answer. Using material and a Power Point developed by Dr. Paul Quintett, certified QPR trainer Pastor Jane Kropa will help non-professions learn how to respond to someone who might be contemplating suicide. This one hour program is free and open to the public.
