Matthew Ollikainen will be leading the congregati­on in worship, presenting the sermon and will present the Children’s Sermon. At 12:30 p.m. the social hall doors will open for our Christmas in July event with a Christmas style dinner served at 1 p.m. Entertainm­ent will be provided by Transforma­tion Praise Band and we will sing Christmas carols and be creating Christmas crafts. The Church Council will meet on Tuesday, July 26 at 7 p.m. in the parlor. The Caregivers Support Group will meet at Walnut Woods in Boyertown at 12:30 p.m. for lunch followed by their meeting at 1:30 p.m. The church is located at 222 Niantic Road between Routes 663 and 100 about a mile east of Bally. St. Luke’s, Obelisk

The youth group and their leaders of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church will leave Sunday, July 24 for a mission trip to Woonsocket, Rhode Island to repair homes for the elderly and for people who cannot afford to make repairs themselves. The youth mission trip team will return home Saturday, July 30. The Rev. Paul Chapman will conduct the 8 a.m. Holy Communion Service and the 9:30 a.m. worship services at Saint Luke’s Lutheran Church, Route 73 and Neiffer Road, Obelisk. You are most welcome. Members participat­ing in the 8 a.m. Holy Communion service are: David Semmens, Head Usher; Craig & Peggy Brendlinge­r, Greeters; and Smoky Panepinto, Assisting Minister.
