Local teams honored by Phillies at CBP

On Monday, Sept. 12, the Phillies invited local teams that reached their state championship level and above to be recognized in a Salute to Champions prior to the team’s game at Citizens Bank Park. The honorees included: · Audubon, Pa.: 10U - Softball PA Babe Ruth State Champions, 11U - Little League Mid-Atlantic Champions, 12U - Softball PA Babe Ruth State Champions

· Boyertown, Pa.: Boyertown Area Senior High School - PIAA AAAA 2016 State Champions; Pine Forge Senior - Babe Ruth Mid Atlantic Champions

· Douglassville, Pa.: Daniel Boone 8U Cal Ripken State Champions

· Doylestown, Pa.: Tigers 12U - Cal Ripken Southeast Pennsylvania State Champions

· Haverford, Pa.: Hilltop 8U - Softball PA State Champions

· Lock Haven, Pa.: Keystone Little League - PA State Champions
