St. Luke Lutheran Church 35 Wilson Ave. Gilbertsville Sunday for the 23nd Sunday of Pentecost: The Adult Bible Study class will meet in the Green Room, beginning at 8:30, a.m. The worship service will begin at 9:30, a.m., and communion will be celebrated. Our interim pastor, The Rev. Christian McMullan, will preside. The Senior Choir, directed by our Music Director, Karen Huss, will sing, , “Be Still My Soul” by Hopp. The Stewardship Campaign: is titled “Give Me Five,” will be “kicked off” on Sunday. The first of five temple talks will be given by Kathy Billger. The focus for
the first week is “thanks.”
The Cherub Choir: rehearses Tuesday night at 6:30. The Community Clothing Rack: will be open for distribution from 1 to 4, p.m. Wednesday in its new location. Please drive down to the lower level parking lot.
Choirs: The handbell choir rehearses at 6 p.m., and the Senior Choir rehearses at 7-30, p.m. Saint Luke’s Lutheran Church, Route 73 and Neiffer Road, Obelisk Free Community Dinner: will be held Thursday, Oct. 20 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.

Worship: on the TwentyThird Sunday after Pentecost on Sunday, Oct. 23 at our 7:45 and 10:15 a.m. Pastor Matt Ollikainen will be leading the congregation in a Healing worship service, present the sermon and will present the Children’s Sermon.
