Lowell R. Levengood, 72, of Boyertown

Lowell R. Levengood, 72, of Boyertown, husband of Loretta R. (Zuber) Levengood was received into the presence of our Lord Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Lehigh Valley Hospice.

Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late Claude and Emily (Rothenberger) Levengood.

Lowell served in the US Navy. He served on the board of directors for the Aviation Council of PA and spent his entire career in the aviation industry. Lowell was an elder and active member of Morning Star Fellowship. He loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters.

Surviving along with his wife are two sons Lee R. Levengood husband of Pamela of Boyertown, and Lane R. Levengood of Lancaster; three granddaughters Ashley, Tabitha, and Vivienne Levengood; and one brother David Levengood husband of Janet.

Along with his parents, Lowell was predeceased by his brother Donald Levengood.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 6:00 pm at Morning Star Fellowship, 100 Limekiln Rd., Bechtelsville, PA 19505. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lowell’s memory to Morning Star Fellowship Benevolence Fund at the address above or online at www.mstar. org/giving.
