Goodwill holding model call for runway show Nov. 12
To select several new faces for the 2017 Goodwill Runway Show, a model open call will be held on Saturday, Nov. 12, in Reading. The Goodwill Runway Show Committee is looking for men and women of all shapes and sizes, over the age of 18, to volunteer to model in the 2017 Runway Show.
The audition will take place at the Goodwill Keystone Area office located at 3001 St. Lawrence Avenue in Reading on Nov. 12 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. There is no need to RSVP. The audition includes completing a form, being photographed and interviewed by stylists, as well as strutting down a catwalk. Selected models will be contacted at the end of November 2016.
Models need to be over 18 years of age and available
The show committee is looking for men and women of all shapes and sizes, over the age of 18, to volunteer to model.
for fittings (dates to be determined). Additionally, they must participate in fundraising for the Goodwill Runway Show. This event raises money to help people with disabilities become more independent. Selected models are required to sell tickets, program ads or sponsorships. Goodwill provides guidance and materials in fundraising for this event.
Models are also required to attend the rehearsal the evening of Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Body Zone Sports & Wellness Complex in Wyomissing. The Goodwill Runway Show is scheduled for Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 4:30 pm to 8:30 p.m. at the Body Zone. The Goodwill Runway Show is a fundraiser for Goodwill Keystone Area and proceeds benefit persons with disabilities and other barriers to independence in achieving their fullest potential as workers and as members of the broader community.
