Berks East gymnasts shine at John Pancott Memorial

The Berks East Gymnastics Levels 4-9 teams and the Xcel Platinum Optional team recently competed at the John Pancott Memorial Invitational at West Chester University this past weekend, December 10th11th, hosted by John Pancott Gymnastics Center.

Levels 9, 7 and Xcel Platinum team placed first in their respective team competitions. Berks East as a gym (all levels team scores together) had the All Around highest score of the entire meet and earned an extra award as well. Individual Results: Level 9, Age 14 and under: Sarah Foster placed first AA, second on vault and bars, third on beam and floor; Nicole Fisher placed second AA, first on floor, third on bars, fourth on vault; Madison Coburn placed third AA, first on vault and beam, second on floor; Elizabeth Romano placed fourth AA, first on bars, second on beam; Abby Grillo placed third on vault, fourth on beam; Gianna Vallone placed fourth on bars and floor. Age 1516: Tessa Moran-Santangelo placed third on beam, fourth on bars. Age 17-18: Hannah Grillo placed first All-Around (AA), first on bars and floor, third on vault, fourth on beam; Lexi Smith placed fourth AA, second on beam, fourth on vault, bars and floor.

Level 8, 14 and under: Gianna Campisi placed third AA, third on vault, fourth on bars and beam.

Age 15 and up: Caitlin Ewing placed second AA, second on bars, third on vault, fourth on beam, fifth on floor; Hannah Rybacki placed first on vault, second on beam, third on floor.

Level 7, Age 11 and under: Abigail DiMarino placed third AA, second on bars, third on vault and floor. Age 12: Sarah Pastor placed first AA, first on vault, beam and floor, fourth on bars. Age 13: Hailee Oswald placed fifth AA, fourth on bars and beam; Chloe Mirack placed sixth AA, fifth on beam and floor, sixth on vault and bars; Lilly Turnquist placed third on vault, sixth on floor. Age 14 and up: Lauryn Moddrel placed first AA, first on vault, bars and floor, second on beam.

Xcel Platinum, Age 13 and under: Bridget Sweeney placed first AA, first on beam, second on floor, fourth on bars; Reilly Spinrad placed second AA, first on floor, second on beam, fifth on vault and bars; Mikaela Halliday placed fourth AA, third on bars and beam; Catie Lewis placed first on vault, fifth on beam. Age 14: Jenna Duczkowski placed first AA, first on vault, bars and floor, third on beam. Age 15 and up: Kayla Foster placed second AA, second on bars, third on vault, fourth on beam and floor; Caroline Goodridge placed fifth AA, third on beam, sixth on bars; Carissa Foster placed first on bars, fifth on vault.

Level 5, Age 11: Mandie Lewis placed second on vault, fourth on bars; Lindsey Schrof placed second on floor, sixth on beam. Age 12 years and up: Kathryn Berger placed sixth AA, third on floor, fifth on vault.

Level 4, Age 8 and under: Maddie Miller placed fourth AA, third on bars and beam, fourth on vault and floor; Leah Pritt placed fifth AA and on beam. Age 9: Lucy Cerimele placed fifth on beam; Natalie Brach placed sixth on bars. Age 10 Junior: Zoey Zimmer placed fifth AA, first on bars, fifth on vault, sixth on beam; Maya Smith placed sixth AA, third on vault. Age 10 Senior: Carson Gallagher placed fifth on vault. Age 12 and up: Tiffany Dyer placed fifth on bars.
