Tompkins VIST Bank hires manager, assistant manager for Boyertown branch
Tompkins VIST Bank today announced that Lori Carnes, of Boyertown, and Brenda Bobbin, of Gilbertsville, have been hired as manager and assistant manager, respectively, of the bank’s new Boyertown office at 101 East Philadelphia Avenue. The branch is scheduled to open this month.
Lori Carnes
As manager, Carnes will be responsible for developing consumer and business relationships by meeting customers’ needs and expanding the bank’s presence in the local community. A veteran of 32 years in the financial services industry, she previously served as a system administrator in Boyertown for BB&T, the former National Penn Bank.
Very active in the Boyertown community, Carnes was Boyertown Citizen of the Year in 2015. She also has served as a member of the Boyertown Council; chairperson of the Boyertown Park and Recreation board; president of the Boyertown Area Creative Housing board of directors; treasurer of the Save the Town Clock Foundation; and board member of the Boyertown United Way.
Brenda Bobbin
As assistant manager, Bobbin will supervise the support staff and help to grow customer relationships. She has 15 years of experience in the banking industry, most recently serving as branch manager at BB&T, the former National Penn Bank.
Also active in the local community, she is a member of the Soroptimist International of Boyertown, and was a volunteer with Girl Scouts of America and a member of the Colebrookdale Recreation Committee.
