Jan. 24 and 26 JOURNEY TO THE PLANETS:
January 24& 26 at 7p.m. There have been a lot of new discoveries made by spacecraft lately; explore these exotic worlds of our solar system with the Boyertown Planetarium. A special part of the program will be devoted to the latest images and information about Pluto - the dwarf planet, as well as the other smaller members of the solar system.
Jan. 26
Reggae Night:The Other Farm Brewing Company, located at 128 E. Philadelphia Ave. in Boyertown, will host its monthly Reggae Night on Thursday, Jan. 26. The event will feature food from Firefly Cafe and music from local reggae band RED-I. Admission is $5. Pancake breakfast: Bally Mennonite Church, Route 100 in Bally, will be serving a Pancake breakfast including pancakes, French toast, sausage, scrapple, OJ, tea, & coffee in the Church Fellowship hall on Saturday, Jan. 28 from 7 to 11 a.m. The cost is a donation. Proceeds from this pancake breakfast will provide funds for the Bally Community Preschool, which provides an excellent early childhood education experience for 3-5 year olds, in a Christian environment.

Fly Tying for Little Fingers: 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Sunday Jan. 29 in the Fly Shop at Cabela’s in Hamburg. Outfitter Tom Coe will be on hand for this fun and interactive event that will have your kids tying fly patterns that will have them catching and bragging in one afternoon. This will be a handson seminar and all kids will receive a fly which they will have learned to tie. Located in front of the fly shop.
Feb. 4
Public hoedown: at Huff’s Union Church, 540 Conrad Road, Alburtis, on Saturday, Feb. 4 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. (bad weather date Feb. 18). Paul Adam and the “Days of Old” band will lead the action in the upstairs of the Rohrbach chapel, across Conrad Road from the church. Free snacks and drinks will be provided. (soft soled shoes please)

Educational Program: “Putting the Gold in the Golden Years” by Richard Eglington He will go step by step through on-going retirement planning, retirement planning concepts, estate planning, and retirement income planning.
