GW’s Raineri wins East Atlantic weekly honor
The George Washington senior co-captain was named East Atlantic Gymnastics League Co-Specialist of the Week (Feb. 8). It was the fourth time this season that she has won or shared the honor. She captured the floor exercise, tying her career-high with a score of 9.900, finished second in vault (9.875) and tied for sixth on uneven bars (9.800) to lead the No. 14 Colonials to victories over New Hampshire, Towson and Ball State on Feb. 5 in Washington, D.C. to go 11-0 on the season.

At the Penn State National on Jan. 28 in University Park, he was 13th in the 1000 (2:31.86) and in Lehigh’s Angry Bird Challenge on Jan. 14, Eddinger finished seventh in the 800 meter run (2:00.49).
The La Salle senior has recorded personal best efforts in both the 5,000 meter run and the 3,000 meter run this winter. She captured the 5k at the Giegengack Invitational in New Haven, Conn on Feb. 4 with a time of 18:07.57. The Misericordia sophomore ranks seventh in the 5,000 meter run on the Middle Atlantic Conference performance list with a time of 19:19.58. She recorded that when she finished fifth at the Orange & Maroon Invitational on Jan. 12 in Selinsgrove. She had a personal record to kick off the season when she finished 7th in the mile (5:54.16) at the River Hawk Invitational Dec. 3 in Selinsgrove. The Ursinus junior has competed in the shot put in four meets thus far this winter and has three victories and a third. On Feb. 4, he set a personal record when he captured the title at the Frank Colden Invitational in Collegeville with a toss of 46 feet, 3½ inches. That bettered his previous best mark of 45 feet, 7 inches that he threw to win the title at the Muhlenberg Invitational on Jan. 27. His other victory came in the Bow-Tie Classic on Dec. 3 (45-1¾). His third came in the Collegeville Classic on Jan. 21 (45-03).
