The Boyertown Lions Club: will hold their dinner meeting Thursday at the Gilbertsville Fire Company, 1454 E. Philadelphia Ave., Gilbertsville at 6:30 p.m. The guest speaker will be Russell Jirik on Senior Life of Reading.

Woman’s Club of Oley Valley: Basket Raffle; A gallery of baskets filled with gift cards, admission tickets and fun themed accessories will be up for grabs at the Spring Fling Basket Raffle. Proceeds to benefit Local Youth & Community. Doors open at noon; drawings start at 1 p.m. Located at the Oley Fair Centre. BYOB; some food and beverages at the event. New Hanover AARP: meets on Monday, March 20, at the New Hanover Lutheran Church, Lutheran Road, Gilbertsville. Optional social time with a bring-your-own bag lunch (beverage and desserts provided) is at noon, Entertainment will be provided by Kathleen Martin, Esq. ( Senior Legal Issues ). Meeting is at 12:45 p.m. All those age 50 and older are invited to attend.
