Cheryl L. Giesler (Freier), 61, of Boyertown

Cheryl L. Giesler (Freier), 61, of Boyertown, PA went to heaven peacefully Thursday, March 9, 2017 while vacationing with her family in Reno, NV.

Born on March 11, 1955 in Sellersville, PA she was the daughter of the late Henry Freier and Frances I. Freier (Souder).

She is survived by her husband Anthony Giesler; her son Justin Mruskovic, boyfriend of Jonina Cross; daughter Krystal Keen (Mruskovic), wife of Ryan Keen; daughter Tyler Longan (Giesler), wife of Andrew Longan, and mom mom to Alexandra Longan.

She is also survived by three sisters, Juanita Spigelmyer (Freier), wife of Thomas Spigelmyer, Louise Hunsicker (Freier), wife of David Hunsicker, Cynthia Wiggs (Freier), wife of Michael Wiggs, and brother of the late Donald H. Freier.

Cheryl was a 1973 graduate of Perkiomen Valley High School. She was a recipient of the female athlete of the year award. She enjoyed hiking, camping, kayaking, and most of all spending quality time with family and friends. Cheryl had a contagious smile and infectious laugh that will remain in our hearts forever.

Cheryl was an entrepreneur and was the successful business owner of Neat N Tidy Pet Grooming located in Boyertown, PA. She started the business in 2008 and enjoyed its success for 9 years. Cheryl was an animal lover and had a special bond with dogs and cats. Kaya, Maggie, Bubba, B cat as well as all of her client’s dogs will greatly miss her.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Schwenksville, PA 19473. Reverend Daniel Schaefer will officiated. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Humane Pennsylvania at HumanePA.org.
