St. John’s Lutheran and ‘Blinko’ join to support The United Way

The “Blinko” game board, borrowed from the State Theatre, made an appearance with St. John’s Lutheran Church of Boyertown at Fun Days In The Park on June 1-3 as St. John’s continues its program of being a community church assisting other community groups in their mission for the Boyertown Area. Fun Days participants had the opportunity to support the United Way by making a $1 donation for 4 chances to win State Theatre concession stand vouchers by having the “Blinko” disc slide into a winning slot. St. John’s offered to match dollar for dollar the amount participants donated to the United Way. With “Blinko” participants donating $570.00, St. John’s has matched that amount making the Fun Days St. John’s and “Blinko” donation to the Boyertown United Way $1,040.
