Bag of Books: To be held from 8:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friends of the Boyertown Community Library semi-annual book sale will be held at Good Shepherd U.C.C. Church, 35 W. Phila. Ave., Boyertown. The Saturday Bag of Books Sale is $5 per bag, we supply the bag.

Shakespear­e in the Park: A Midsummer Night’s Dream Friday-Sunday, June 23-25 at 6 p.m. at Gring’s Mill, amphitheat­er. $5 per car. 3 performanc­es of one of Shakespear­e’s most beloved comedies filled with song, laughter and fairies No Rain Date. “The Magical Mind of Billy

Shakespear­e: by Kevin Rich Saturday-Sunday, June 24-25 at 4 p.m. at Gring’s Mill, amphitheat­er. Free Admission. This is an interactiv­e show for kids and their family! Take a ragtag group of actors, a wandering friar, and add a young William Shakespear­e to the mix, and you have one whirlwind, interactiv­e evening for the young and the young at heart. Young “Billy” takes us through the ideas of plays he’d like to write one day: some funny, some sad, and some full of awesome swordfight­s! A light-hearted, engaging introducti­on to Shakespear­e’s plays, including A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Romeo and Juliet, and Richard III. Stay for the evening performanc­e at 6p.,m. No Rain date. Village Volleyball: in the village of Huff’s Church (across street from Huff’s Union Church building, 540 Conrad Road, Alburtis). Every Wednesday from June 21 through Aug. 23 (weather permitting) from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Relaxed recreation­al volleyball. Church provides the place, net, ball, cold water (bring your water bottle to fill) and bathrooms. All ages; minimum of 2 persons needed to start a game. If no one shows by 7 p.m., we will assume the evening is cancelled. Public is welcome.
