Jacob Stauffer Jr., 83, of Oley

Jacob Stauffer Jr., 83, of Oley, husband of Jean Sniegoski, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 at ManorCare Laureldale.

Born in Douglassville, he was the son of the late Jacob Stauffer Sr. and the late Edith Stauffer Dierolf and stepson of Morris Dierolf.

Jake owned and operated Jake Stauffer & Sons Painting for over 40 years in the Boyertown area. He loved going fishing with his sons.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 63 years are three sons, Michael of Myerstown, Steven, husband of Carin of Boyertown, Daniel, husband of Tanya of Boyertown; three daughters, Linda, wife of Samuel Young of Palmyra, Joan Toretta of Boyertown and Marlene, wife of John Karpinski of Boyertown; four grandchildren, Danette McCracken, Erika Alena, Joseph Leh and Matthew Leh; three greatgrandchildren, Mason McCracken, Sophia Alena and Darren Leh, and two sisters, Jean Schock and Margaret Tothero.

He was predeceased by two sisters, Marjorie Hoffman and Shirley Norris, and one brother, LeRoy Stauffer.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
