We are on our summer worship schedule, we will worship each Sunday at 9AM. There will be no 8AM services or Sunday School during the month of August. We will return to our regular schedule on Sunday, September 3rd.

Please mark your calendar for our annual Basket Party, Saturday, September 30th, 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m., doors open at 10:30 a.m. Tickets are $15.00, food will be available for purchase. So come out for a day of lots of fun and winning many baskets!

Need a ride? We have volunteers in the congregati­on who are willing to provide transporta­tion to medical appointmen­ts, etc., for those who can’t find a ride. Please contact Pastor Zaiser 610-322-0901 if you need a ride or would like to volunteer as a driver.

First, a HUGE welcome to our newly called pastor, Pastor Mary Ann Siefke. Pastor Mary Ann is passionate about worship and music, and comes to us from Williston, Ohio. She holds a Master of Divinity and Master of Church Music Degrees from Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio. She and her husband, Derrick, along with their cat, Slicker are moving to Boyertown this week!! We welcome Pastor Mary Ann and Derrick to St. Luke Lutheran Church, and to our ministry together!

On the tenth Sunday of Pentecost, please join us at 9:30, a.m. for the service. Holy Communion will be celebrated. We will continue our “Simply Summer” worship, where we use the Service of Word and Prayer. Following the service, all are invited to the continuing study of: “A Reformatio­n – 500 Years of Celebratio­n.” The class begins following the worship service, and concludes by noon. The study is being led by Pastors Don Nice and Luther Johnson.

The assembly of the September Niantic News will be held on Thursday, August 17 beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the parlor. Then from 2:30 – 7:30 p.m. at Calvary UCC, Rte. 100 Barto, members and the community are invited to participat­e in the KeystoneMi­ller Blood drive.
