Aug. 12

Paranormal Investigat­ion: Join Charles J. Adams, III for a paranormal experience at Popodickon Manor, starts at 6:13 or 8:13 PM. This magnificen­t historic house, built around 1730 as the mansion for the ironmaster of the Colebrookd­ale Furnace, houses numerous spirits from its rich past. We will be investigat­ing in the house, graveyard and alleged burial site of Chief Popodickon. Space is limited and reservatio­ns are requested. The cost is $35 and $30 for seniors and students. Dog Days of August: Building a Better Boyertown will host this event from 10 a.m. -1 p.m. along East Philadelph­ia Avenue.

Solar eclipse: Get ready for the solar eclipse at the Boyertown Community Library. Learn about what to expect during an eclipse and explore with hands-on activities from 12-1 p.m. This program is open to all ages. Please call to reserve a spot, 610-369-0496.

Duryea Day: To be held from 9:00am-4:00pm at the Boyertown Community Park, 419 S. Madison Street, Boyertown. Info: 610-367-2090. Annual car, truck and motorcycle show. Community Fun Day: To be held from 2-6 p.m. Oley Valley Mennonite Church ,located at 1571 Memorial Highway Oley ,will host Oley Valley Community Fun Day. Bring your antique tractors,cars,and garden tractors. We will also have a bounce house, barrel train rides,crafts,a kiddie tractor pull at 3:45 p.m. and plenty of delicious food and baked goods. Bring your family for a free fun day in the Oley Valley.
