BOYERTOWN 4, POTTSGROVE 0 » The Bears rallied for three goals during the second half en route to a PAC win over the Falcons on Sept. 18.

Jimmy Towers finished with a goal and an assist while Drew Benning, Colin Brisbois and Nick Willson each registered solo tallies. Connor Reiss, Ben Margavitch and Ben Wise each had assists in front of Zach Kovatch’s seven-save showing for the shutout. BOYERTOWN 2, UPPER MERION 1 » With all the scoring in the second half, the Bears rallied to prevail over the Vikings in a nondivisio­nal pairing of PAC schools on Sept. 20.

Colin Brisbois and Drew Benning each scored after Trevor Looby got UM on the scoreboard by converting a direct kick. Jimmy Towers was credited with assists on both Bear goals.

BOYERTOWN 10, POTTSTOWN 0 » Dante Folk and Owen Renninger each scored twice while Jacob Groff had a goal and three assists in the Bears’ one-sided win on Sept. 22. Other Boyertown scorers were Brian Burkhardt, Chris Davis, Derek Dierolf, Dawson Smith and Dimitri Randejelov­ic. Nick Willson added three assists and Matt Kerr had two assists.

BOYERTOWN 5, POTTSGROVE 1 » Kaleigh Gallagher had three points while Corinne Renninger scored twice in leading the Bears past the Falcons in a PAC non-divisional pairing on Sept. 18.

Gallagher added a goal and a pair of assists while Megan Gallagher, Megan Knier and Grace Conover added goals in the win. Sarah Rybacki scored Pottsgrove’s lone goal in the loss. BOYERTOWN 5, UPPER MERION 0 » Maddy Monka scored twice and added an assist to lead the Bears to a PAC divisional crossover win against the Vikings on Sept. 20. Mikayla Moyer added a goal and an assist while Hannah Mutter and Mattie Gallagher each scored once. Cassidy Landis and Mackenzie Fatzinger combined for two saves in the shutout.

BOYERTOWN 2, POTTSTOWN 1 » Tied 1-1 at halftime, the Bears escaped the Trojans on Grace Conover’s goal in the 68th minute in PAC crossover play on Sept. 22. Aniya Hoskins, fresh off leading Pottstown to its first-ever PAC win earlier in the week over Norristown, cancelled out Corinne Renninger’s opener (assisted by Kaleigh Gal-

lagher) in the first 40 minutes. Pottstown goalkeeper Emme Wolfel was superb again in net, recording 15 saves in the narrow defeat.

Jen O’Connor finished with a hat trick and an assist while Sydney Fox scored twice and Ashley Dierolf had a goal and a pair of assists. Lindsay Flack and Allison Melahn (assist) each scored a goal. Bailey Murphy scored Pottsgrove’s lone goal. OLEY VALLEY 5, BOYERTOWN

1» Madison Kline scored twice and Sydney Gillingham chipped in with a goal and assist to help the Lynx roll over the Bears in nonleague play on Sept. 20.

Boyertown’s goal came from Cassie Kidwell, with Sydney Fox on the assist. Haley Gable gave the Bears 11-save goal-tending.

Boys golf

METHACTON 189, BOYERTOWN 230 » Dylan Lasecki fired an even-par 35 while playing out of the No. 6 slot to lead the Warriors past the Rams in PAC play at Skippack Golf Club on Sept. 19.

John Cooper followed with a 37 while Nick Martin (38), Christian Rossi (39) and AJ Thomas (40) rounded out the Methacton scorecard. John Engle paced Boyertown with a 39. UPPER PERKIOMEN 222, BOYERTOWN 231 » Brett Miller headed the Indians’ victory over the Bears in their PAC match at Hickory Valley on Sept. 21.

Miller secured low-man honors with a 40 on the par-36 Presidenti­al course. Jarek Svanson followed with a 42, matching the total of Boyertown low man John Engle. BOYERTOWN 230, POTTSGROVE 237 » Brad Kenstermak­er and Zach Little each shot a round low 43 in the Bears win over PAC foe Pottsgrove on Sept. 22.

Mark Engler (46), Bryan Bilanin (49) and Cole Hertzler (49) rounded out the winning scorecard for Boyertown who moved to 2-6 in league play. Cameron Mowery and Donnie Petrella each shot a 46 for the Falcons who dropped to 2-8 on the year.

DOWNINGTOW­N EAST 159,

BOYERTOWN 200 » Megan Ostertag and Liddie McCook each shot a round-low two-over 37 to lead the Cougars to a PAC win over Boyertown on Sept. 20.

East moves 6-2 on the year while Boyertown dropped to 3-5. Savanna Haas posted the low score for the Bears with a 40.

Girls tennis

PHOENIXVIL­LE 6, BOYERTOWN 1 » Julia Gumieniak, Mila Archer and Gina Brown each won their singles matches 6-0, 6-0 in the Phantoms’ PAC win over the Bears.

Phoenixvil­le improved their record to 6-1 with the win, while Boyertown fell to 2-6. The lone win for the Bears came in the third doubles matchup when the duo of Gabby Zaleski/Hannah Pellicciot­ti defeated Jess Kramer/Jillian Absher 6-2, 7-6 (7-1). METHACTON 7, BOYERTOWN

0» The straight-set singles wins of Tina Prince (No. 1), Anna Ryu (No. 2) and Ari Louer (No. 3) led the Warriors to the PAC victory on Sept. 22.

The closest match of the day was at No. 1 doubles where Karen Li and Hannah Kim rallied over Boyertown’s Jillian Leery and Samira Weckmuelle­r, 5-7, 6-2, 6-0.

Girls volleyball

BOYERTOWN 3, OWEN J. ROBERTS 1 » The Bears won the last two sets, 25-22 and 25-20, to score their PAC victory over the Wildcats on Sept. 19. Boyertown took the first set 25-11, then saw OJR win the second 25-23.
