Oct. 5 Lions Club: The Boyertown Lions Club will hold their dinner meeting at The Friendship Hook & Ladder Fire Co., S. Reading Ave. & Warwick St., Boyertown at 6:30 PM. This is the monthly board meeting. All members are welcome. Oct. 7 Annual Buckwheat/Pancake and Sausage Dinner: Homefries, vegs. dessert and beverage included. Fall Fest: Huff’s Church Park, Hereford Township, Fall Fun Fest. Informal Drop-in anytime between 3-5 p.m. Safe & fun activities for all. Bible Storytellers, Treat Bags for Children, Hayrides, Fall Fun Games. In case of bad weather, event will be held in the Chapel.

Haunted History: Friday the Thirteenth is the Grand Opening of the Haunted History Gallery at the Boyertown Area Historical Society Museum. Revel in the interactive exhibits, posing for your picture in an open coffin, exploring an iron mine, or visiting the local “dentist” for kids of ages. Hear all about the haunted activity in the museum and track down the spirits for yourself. All of this while learning about the history of Boyertown from 6 to 9 PM at 43 S. Chestnut St, Boyertown. Breakfast: To be held from 3-7 p.m. All U Can Eat Pork and Sauerkraut Dinner, Calvary United Church of Christ, 1231 Route 100, Barto. Free Concert: 7- 8:30 p.m. – Keith Brintzenhoff and the Toad Creek Ramblers. Mark your calendars for a fun filled night of music (old timey, folk, bluegrass, country, gospel and hoedown), and PA Dutch folklore. Fright Nights: The State Theatre of Boyertown will be hosing Friday Fright Night, a classic horror film every Friday night in October. Reminiscent of the Midnight Movies shown in the 70s. Throughout October a different classic horror film will play at 10 p.m. every Friday night. The doors will open at 9:30 p.m. Audience members must be at least 18 years old. Tickets are $7.00.
