Elizabeth J. (Fitts) Miller, 87

Elizabeth J. (Fitts) Miller, 87, died Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Manatawny Manor. She was the wife of Melvin Miller.

Born in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Frank D. Fitts & the late Elsie D. (Dailey) Fitts.

Elizabeth was employed for 8 years at Dover Dress Company as a seamstress.

She was a 1948 graduate of Boyertown Area School District. She was a member of St. John-Hill United Church of Christ, Boyertown.

She volunteered for the American Heart Association as well as the Bally Senior Center.

In addition to her husband Melvin of 65 years, Elizabeth is survived by 3 sons, Daniel, husband of Jean Miller, Galena, OH, Norman, husband of Deborah Miller, Columbus, OH, David Miller, husband of Lisa Ballou, Seattle, WA; a daughter Susan, wife of Kevin Hallman, Douglassville, as well as 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Monday, October 9, 2017 at St. John-Hill UCC., 620 Hill Church Road, Boyertown. Burial was in the church cemetery.
