Lions Club: The Boyertown Lions Club will hold their dinner meeting at the Friendship Hook & Ladder Fire Co., S. Reading Ave. & Warwick St., Boyertown at 6:30 pm. We will be enjoying a Halloween Party after the meeting. All members are welcome.
Oct. 20
Free Concert: 7- 8:30 p.m. – Keith Brintzenhoff and the Toad Creek Ramblers. Mark your calendars for a fun filled night of music (old timey, folk, bluegrass, country, gospel and hoedown), and PA Dutch folklore. As a special treat, there will also be a hoedown included in this performance. All are welcome to attend this Alton Acker Memorial Concert Series! Salsa Dancing: Clay on Main is hosting an evening of salsa dancing from 7-9 p.m. Instructors from WH Dance Academy will be there to teach a class. The cost is $50 per person ages 14 and up with class size limited to 14. Snacks will be provided and it is BYOB. This event is part of the lead up to the Fall 2018 exhibition of Cuban artist, Julio Cepeda. Cepeda will participate in the creation of several murals in Berks County while he is an Artist in Residence at the Goggleworks Center for the Arts. Fifty percent of Salsa Night proceeds will be donated to the effort to host him.

Grave Tales (The Original!): Old Goshenhoppen Church – Join the W.S. Hancock Society as we traverse a new location and another phenomenal graveyard that spans the centuries. Our daytime tour leaves from the church at 12 noon and evening tours will begin at 6 p.m. and then every half hour with the last tour leaving at 8:30 p.m. While you wait for your tour to begin, drink in a presentation on remarkable headstones from around the nation. Please dress weather appropriate, wear walking shoes and bring a flashlight or lantern. We are NOT a haunted attraction. Our aim is to educate while allowing your imagination to ignite your senses. Pancake Breakfast: Together, Butter Valley Community Church & Bally Mennonite Church, Route 100 in Bally, will be serving a Pancake breakfast, including pancakes, French toast, sausage, scrapple, OJ, tea, & coffee in the Church Fellowship hall at Bally Mennonite Church from 7-11 a.m. Donations of all amounts are appreciated. Fall Bazaar: To be held at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 1236 Juniper Street, Pottstown, from 8-2 p.m. Customers can purchase pierogi, both potato or sauerkraut; holupki (stuffed cabbage); and halushki (buttered noodles); and nut rolls, all made from authentic Slavic recipes. Home-made soups and baked goods also will be available. Enjoy a meal at the church or buy take-out. The bazaar will feature gift basket raffles and a flea market. On-site parking is available. Fright Nights: The State Theatre of Boyertown will be
hosing Friday Fright Night, a classic horror film every Friday night in October. Reminiscent of the Midnight Movies shown in the 70s. Throughout October a different classic horror film will play at 10 p.m. every Friday night. The doors will open at 9:30 p.m. Audience members must be at least 18 years old. Tickets are $7.00.
