Sunday’s activities begin at 8:30 with the Adult Sunday School Class. Then, join us Sunday for our 9:30, a.m. service with Holy Communion. We welcome Epiphany, as we focus on the gifts of the Wisemen to the Christ Child. During the sermon, six members of St. Luke will present stories about the best gift they ever gave, or received. During the service, the choir will sing, “O Jesu Sweet,” by Scheidt. Following the service, a celebrator­y event will be held in Memorial Hall. Members of St. Luke were successful in contributi­ng over $750 to purchase a family farm, somewhere in God’s Global Barnyard! Additional monies collected will be presented to those in attendance so that they can vote on what to purchase to use with the remaining money. Members are asked to bring their gifts to the event. The church office will be closed on New Year’s Day. On Tuesday, the Cherub Choir will meet at 6:30, as will the Property Committee. Worship and Music will meet at 7:00, p.m. On Wednesday, the Community Clothing Rack will be open for distributi­on from 1:00-4:00, p.m. Wednesday evening, the handbell choir will rehearse at 6:30, and the Sr. Choir will rehearse at 7:30. Thursday night, the Executive Committee will meet at 6:30, p.m. It’s a new year….St. Luke Church welcomes you! The Worship and Music committee will meet on Tuesday, January 2 at 6:30 p.m. in room B followed by an Edu-Worship meeting at 7:00 p.m. in room D.

On Wednesday, January 3, the Bell Choir will resume rehearsals at 6:30 p.m. and the Senior Choir will resume at 7:30 p.m. The Junior and Cadette Girl Scout troops will meet on Thursday, January 4 at 6:30 p.m. in the social hall. On Friday, January 5 at 1:00 p.m., the Good Grief Support Group will meet in the parlor at 1:00 p.m.
