Senior Shepherds is an active group of seniors in the Boyertown Community who gather together monthly with guest speakers

who share informativ­e topics and/or local entertainm­ent for these social gatherings. All senior members of the Boyertown community are welcome to attend these meetings.

Maundy Thursday worship March 29 at 7:30 p.m. Holy communion offered, as will handwashin­g for those who choose to participat­e. Sr. Choir will sing “Think of Me and Remember,” by Raney. The altar will be stripped at the conclusion of the service, as we prepare for the crucifixio­n on Good Friday.

The Good Friday Service will begin at 7:30 p.m. Please join us as we are reminded that the church gathers not to mourn this day, but to celebrate Christ’s life-giving passion, and to find strength and hope in the tree of life. We will use the ancient bidding prayer and offer petitions for all the world for whom Christ died. The Sr. Choir will sing, “What Have They Done to My Savior?” by Lawrence.

The annual Easter Egg Hunt will be March 31 at 11 a.m., held rain or shine. Bring a basket or bag to collect all your eggs! Donations of hard-boiled or candy-filled eggs will be greatly appreciate­d between 9 and 10 a.m. on Saturday in Memorial Hall.

Easter Sunday is April 1. Join us for this joyful Sunday when we celebrate the Risen Christ! Holy Communion offered at 7:30 and 10:15 a.m. services. The handbell will ring the prelude at the 7:30 a.m. service, and Sr. Choir will sing “Crown the Resurrecti­on Day” by Christophe­r. At the 10:15 a.m. service, Sr. Choir and the Cherub Choir will sing.

The church office will be closed on Monday.

On Tuesday, the Cherub

Choir will rehearse at 6:30. Property Committee will also meet at that time.

The Community Clothing Rack will be open for donations on Wednesday, from 1-4 p.m. Please come out and support this important community ministry.

March 29: in Fellowship Hall at 7:15 pm for Maundy Thursday Worship. Pastor Linda will offer foot or hand washing as we prepare to gather around the Table for the hearing of Word and the sharing of the Bread of Life and the Cup of Blessing. After the meal, we’ll proceed to the Sanctuary to experience our tradition of stripping the altar and the chancel area as we prepare for Good Friday and the walk to the Cross.

Good Friday Service of Worship on March 30 at 7:15 pm. As we reflect, remember, repent, and return, we will once again hear the narrative of Jesus’ final walk and Jesus’ final words. We’ll also hear the voices of folks who remember how Jesus changed their lives. Join us for this deeply meaningful time to pause and Worship the One who came to teach us how to live, how to love, how to be in relationsh­ip with God and with each other.

Join us as life defeats death and love conquers hate. We’ll come to the Table to be filled with the Bread of Life and to drink from the Cup of Blessing. Holy Communion will be served by Intinction at the 7 a.m. and in our pews at the 10:15 a.m.

On Easter Sunday, we will have a Pancake breakfast at 8 am and Sunday School for all ages takes place at 9 am.

Bible Study will begin our exploratio­n of “The Psalms for Today” by Beth LaNeel Tanner on April in the Spiritual Care Room Mondays at 1:30 pm. All are welcome

Celebrate Resurrecti­on of our Lord on Easter Sunday on April 1 at our sunrise worship services beginning in the cemetery at 6:30 and an Easter Festival service at 10:15 a.m. Pastor Matt Ollikainen will lead the congregati­on in worship services of Holy Communion, present the sermon, as well as the Children’s Sermon at both services. Immediatel­y following the 6:30 a.m. service, there will be an Easter Breakfast in the social hall. Confirmati­on Class will be held at 9 a.m. in room I.
