The local Toastmaste­rs club, Koinonia Speakers, is a fun and friendly group that strives to contribute to each member’s developmen­t as speakers and leaders through fellowship, sharing, joint participat­ion and compassion­ate encouragem­ent. Speaking experience­s of club members range from beginners and novices all the way to Distinguis­hed Toastmaste­rs; this diversity helps everyone to contribute and improve.

The Gilbertsvi­lle-area club is holding an Open House at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, at New Hanover United Methodist Church, 2211 Swamp Pike in Gilbertsvi­lle.
