St. Joseph’s Church

Bethlehem and Junior Choirs will resume in the Fall. Senior Choir rehearses on Wednesdays, 7:30-8:30pm through end of May.

Shepherd of the Hills Church

The Prime Timers will have lunch at Rebecca’s Home Cooked Meals in Narvon on May 24, leaving the church at 11:15 a.m.

The Cub Scouts will hold their final meeting of the season on Thursday. Thursday is also the closing day for the Preschool.

Boy Scouts meet Monday at 7 p.m. AA groups meet at the church on Wednesdays at 8 p.m., Thursdays at 12:15 p.m. and Saturdays at 10 a.m. Al Anon meets in the church on Tuesdays at 8 p.m.

Christ Lutheran Church

Worship with us on the Holy Trinity Sunday on May 27, at our one worship service at 9 a.m. Pastor David Penman, supply pastor, will lead the congregati­on in Holy Communion worship services and present the sermon. Those ministerin­g at the 9 a.m. service are: Acolyte; OPEN, Cross Bearer; OPEN, Lector; Charles Orner, Communion Assist; Mike Appold and Greeters/Ushers; Brian Barr.

The church office will be closed on Monday, May 28 in observance of Memorial Day. The “Journeys through Grief”, led by Sylvia Havlish grief counselor, session will be held on May 29 at 7 p.m. in the parlor. The Junior/Cadette Girl Scout troops will meet on May 31 at 6:30 p.m.

Trinity Lutheran Church

Sunday Worship Services are 10:15 a.m., Sunday School 9 a.m., Contempora­ry Worship Service 8 a.m., the 1st and 3rd Sundays. May 27 is Holy Trinity. The 10:15 a.m. Service Worship Assistants will be Greeters: Dennis & Cathy Yoder, Ushers: Bob & Diane McElwee and Howard & Waynette Shafer, Lector: Janice Sheetz, Nursery: Linda Brunner.

Our summer worship schedule begins June 3, with worship each Sunday at 9 am. There will be no 8 am services or Sunday School during the months of June, July, and August. We will return to our regular schedule on Sept. 2.

Graduate Recognitio­n Sunday is June 10. Call the Church Office and let us know of any members, friends, or loved ones who are graduating from high school, college, graduate school, basic training or any other academic or career training program.

St. Luke Church

Join us for the 8:30 Sunday morning Bible Study at 8:30. Then, join us at 9:30, a.m. for worship. This is the Holy Trinity. On this day, we are saying something about who God is beyond, before, and after the universe: that there is community within God. On this day we will also have a Memorial Day Liturgy. The Senior Choir will sing, “God Bless America,” by Berlin. There will be no J.A.M. (Jesus and Me) class on Sunday.

The church office will be closed on Monday, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.

The Evangelism Committee will meet at 7 pm on Tuesday night, and Christian Education Committee will follow at 8 p.m.

The Community Clothing Rack will NOT be open on Wednesday, as it is the fifth Wednesday of the month.

The handbell choir will meet at 6:30 on Wednesday night.
