Worship with us on the Eighth Sunday after Pentecost on July 15,at our one worship service at 9 a.m. Special music presented by Kassidy McChessney, granddaughter of a member of the congregation. Those ministering at the 9 a.m. service are Acolyte; Emily Francisco, Lector; Terry Flicker, and Greeters/Ushers; Holly Francisco and Mike Appold.
The Endowment Committee will meet on July 17 at 7 p.m. in room B downstairs. The office will be opened on July 20 from 9 a.m. to noon. Those interested in family camping at the Congo Road Open Space are invited to contact the Fioriglio’s to make arrangements. The outdoor worship service followed by the church picnic will be July 22 beginning at 9 a.m. at the Congo Road Open Space. We will begin worship at 9:30 following light refreshments beginning at 9 a.m.

Our annual Worship in the Park and Congregational Picnic will be July 15 at 9 a.m. in the Bechtelsville Community Park. July 15 is the 8th Sunday after Pentecost with Communion. Worship Assistants will be volunteers. Please bring lawn chairs. The Picnic will take place following Worship. Please bring a Side Dish and/or Dessert to Share. The main meal will be BBQ’S and hot dogs and beverages will be provided. There will be games and the customary bingo. All are welcome.
This year’s Reading Phillies Game will be July 21. Gates open at 4:30 p.m., Game at 6:35 p.m. Price includes the All You Can Eat Buffet.
Splash Canyon Vacation Bible School, July 23 to 27, from 6:15-8:30 p.m. will held for children ages 3 to sixth grade. We’ll have stories, music, crafts, and much more. Registration forms will be on the VBS bulletin board in Parish Hall. For any other information contact Sharon Renninger.

A team of youth and adults will depart on Sunday for a week-long mission trip to Easton. Those participating are Kristin Gross, Dylan Houck, Jahkari Korchowsky, Rachael Smith, Rebekah Smith, Sarah Smith, Ali Young, Lucas Hahn, Julie Korchowsky, Nick Korchowsky and Tara Wilson.
Boy Scouts meet Monday at 7 p.m. AA groups meet at the church on Wednesdays at 8 p.m., Thursdays at 12:15 p.m. and Saturdays at 10 a.m. Al Anon meets in the church on Tuesdays at 8 p.m.

St. Luke Church 35 WILSON AVE., GILBERTSVILLE

The Community Clothing Rack will be open July 18 and 25 for distribution. During the summer, we are open from 9 a.m. to noon. The Clothing Rack will be open July 12 from 6-8 p.m. for distribution, as well.
