Veterans’ Photo ID Discount Card Distribution: Montgomery County Recorder of Deeds comes to Chestnut Knoll At Home Gilbertsville, 1041 E. Philadelphia Ave., Gilbertsville, 10 a.m. to noon. By Pennsylvania Statute of 1868 the Recorder of Deeds is authorized to record military discharge papers of Veterans. All Montgomery County Veterans who are planning to receive their card must bring their DD214 military discharge papers and a photo ID. The Veterans’ Photo ID Discount Card can be presented at participating businesses throughout the region to receive discounts for goods and services as a show of appreciation to those who served our country.
