Annual Fall Festival slated for Sept. 15

The West Reading Community Revitaliza­tion Foundation and Love West Reading is set to host the 12th annual Fall Festival on Saturday, Sept. 15. The family friendly event will be from noon to 9 p.m. on Penn Avenue between 4th and 7th Avenues in West Reading.

Guests are welcome to enjoy a day of fresh, seasonal cuisine from local restaurant­s, artisan vendors, two stages of live music, art displays, crafts and children’s activities, adult libations and more! The free event is open to the public and will be held rain or shine.

Event sponsor Sly Fox Brewery will feature a craft beer garden and all live music performanc­es held on the Main Stage at 6th and Penn. Headlining the main stage is Southern Culture on the Skids from Chapel Hill, N.C., offering a mix of Surf, Rockabilly, R&B and Country-fried Garage with a side of Psych and Americana.

The Main Stage will also include performanc­es by Drew and the Blue, The Youngers, a reunion performanc­e by Frozen Poet, Cloud Party, BE, Crop Circle and Shawn Davis and the Black Ties.

The Community Stage held at 7th and Penn will include performanc­es by The Midnight Antics, Gleasons Drift, Double Crossed, Royal Wedding, Sweaty Money, The Resistance, and Erin Margaret Linderman.
