Stan­ley W. Steltz, 80, of Longswamp Town­ship, passed away sud­denly on Sun­day, Oc­to­ber 28, 2018, in his res­i­dence. He was the lov­ing hus­band of Phyl­lis J. (An­der­son) Steltz, whom he mar­ried on May 16, 1959.

Born in Swamp, PA, Stan­ley was a son of the late Leroy Steltz and Vi­ola E. (Weller) Brensinger.

He hon­or­ably and faith­fully served his coun­try in the United States Air Force.

Stan­ley was em­ployed by Air Prod­ucts and Chem­i­cals, Inc., work­ing as a Cryo­gen­ics Ma­chin­ist at their Fo­gelsville plant for over 30 years, re­tir­ing in 1996. Af­ter his re­tire­ment, Stan­ley worked part-time at Solt’s Sawmill, Mertz­town and the Bor­ough of Kutz­town.

He was a life-mem­ber of Ray A. Mas­ter Post 217, Amer­i­can Legion, Top­ton, a ben­e­fi­cial mem­ber of Pike Town­ship Sports­man’s As­so­ci­a­tion, Oley, a mem­ber of Mertz­town Rod and Gun Club, and was very ac­tively in­volved with the Mertz­town Gun Club Fish Pond. Stan­ley was also a tal­ented wood­worker.

Sur­vivors: In ad­di­tion to his wife of 59 years, Phyl­lis, Stan­ley is sur­vived by his three chil­dren, Con­nie L. Steltz, Mertz­town, Cindy M. (Steltz), wife of Keith R. Rauen­zahn, Al­bur­tis, Scott W., hus­band of Tammi S. (Bryant) Steltz, Fleet­wood; four grand­chil­dren, Tasha L. Humphrey, Mertz­town, Ryan F. Rauen­zahn, Al­bur­tis, Trevor S. Steltz and Levi C. Steltz, both of Fleet­wood; and two great­grand­chil­dren, Vi­ola Grace and June Lanai Humphrey. He is also sur­vived by two sis­ters, Elaine (Steltz) Ham­rick, Spring, TX, and Susie (Steltz) Tomkins, Al­bur­tis; and a brother, Terry L. Brensinger, Al­bur­tis. Stan­ley was pre­de­ceased by his par­ents, a sis­ter, Glo­ria (Steltz) DeFrain, and a brother, Charles Brensinger.

Ser­vices: At Stan­ley’s re­quest, there will be no ser­vices.
