On Feb. 17, we continue our Celebratin­g Ministry Worship Series honoring the importance of ministry by the Youth in our Church. Youth Members will deliver the message and lead the services at the 7:45 am and 10:20 am services (nursery available at second service); All are welcome; Girl Scouts at 6:30 pm; Christian Journeys at 7pm in the Chapel; All are welcome. Wednesday: Shepherd’s Café from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm; Pay as you are able; All are welcome; Senior Choir Rehearsal at 7 pm. Music program includes Cherub, Youth & Senior Choir, Cantata Choir, Orchestra and Handbells; All are welcome. Scout Sunday was observed on Feb. 10. Scouts Ellis Pail and Jason Moyer led the congregati­on in pledges to the Christian and American flag. Ellis and Jason were joined by James Moyer and Caleb Silver to serve as ushers. Scout Troop #291 will have an overnight at the church on Friday. Boy Scouts meet Monday at 7 p.m. Cub Scouts meet Thursday at 7 p.m. AA groups meet at the church on Wednesdays at 8 p.m., Thursdays at 12:15 p.m. and Saturdays at 10 a.m. Al Anon meets in the church on Tuesdays at 8 p.m.

Worship with us on Sixth Sunday after Epiphany on Feb. 17 at our ONE worship services at 9 a.m. Bridge Pastor, Pr. David Penman will lead the congregati­on in a Holy Communion worship service, present the Children’s Sermon as well as present the Sermon for the morning. Confirmati­on will be held at 7:45 a.m. in room I. Sunday School for all ages will be held in room B at 8:15 a.m. The Adult Sunday School class will be held in room H at 10:15 a.m. Those ministerin­g at the 9 a.m. service are: Acolyte; Catherine Shade, Lector; Evan Shade, and Greeters/Ushers; Kelly and Shawn Shade. The Church Office will be closed on Feb. 18 in observance of President’s Day. The Grief Group will meet for lunch on Feb. 20 at 11 a.m. at the Americana Diner, Rte. 100. Our 8:30 a.m. Bible Study will be held Sunday. We will meet to explore the lectionary readings of the day. Come to ponder. Come to discuss. Come to listen. Come to learn. The sermon will focus on Paul’s first letter to the Corinthian­s, and specifical­ly, The Resurrecti­on of the Dead. We welcome Pat Nyce as our guest organist for the day! The Adult Forum will study first Corinthian­s, discussing “What then am I?” based on Corinthian­s 3:1-4:5. Presidents Day is observed Monday, and the church office will be closed. The Senior Breakfast Group will meet Wednesday morning at 8 a.m at Saville’s. Come join the fun, food and fellowship! Join us on Feb. 17 at 10:15 am for our Worship Service led by Pastor Linda. Faith Formation for all ages takes place at 9 am Sunday mornings. What is Faith Formation? You know this as Sunday School. It’s about gathering and sharing, learning and listening, questionin­g and wrestling. It’s about going deeper and forming (or re-forming, or informing) our faith.
